Does 10% Performance-Based Pay Apply Only to Repair & Parts?

Contractor Question:

“For Technician performance based pay, do you recommend 10% only on the repair/individual part or does the 10% include the diagnostic fee or maintenance fee? We are working on rolling out this out next month and this was my last question. Thank you for your time.”

Contractor University Expert Response:

“Its 10% of the ticket.

So whatever you do on diagnostic would be inclusive (some firms waive it) so your policy is key here.

It’s 10% on the sum of all billings.”
