“When it comes to utilizing phone numbers for lead tracking purposes, is it best practice to advertise a different phone number for each campaign and lead source? If so, how does this affect your NAP (Name, address, phone number) for SEO?”

“I have always tried to use multiple numbers so I could track every aspect of my marketing, How it affects SEO is interesting and we do need to be careful and make sure it is implemented correctly.
Maintain one primary phone number for NAP consistency across your website, Google Business profile etc. Then, look into dynamic call tracking numbers that automatically change based on where a customer comes from (search, paid ads, social, etc.), so you can see which marketing source generated the call.”
