13.9 Comfort Advisor Pay Plan Example – Gross Profit: Here is a basic outline of a sample Comfort Advisor Pay Plan using Gross Profit Dollars as the main measurement and pay system. This replaces pay on the top line sales revenues and makes the Comfort Advisor more accountable to the days of the job being profitable.

13.9 Comfort Advisor Pay – Gross Margin Percentage: Here is an example Comfort Advisor pay plan to customize based on the Gross Margin Percentages. A company may prefer to pay based on the actual Margin, which is not our preferred method (Gross Profit Dollars are more in line with company goals), yet some Managers embrace this and this example provides a tool to custiomize.

13.9 Comfort Advisor Pay Plan Top Line Sales: Here are the pay plans for Comfort Advisors based on the top line sales produced in a given style of product position. The higher end products produce a higher percentage of pay for the Comfort Advisor. A discounting policy is optional, but this example ties discounts to Comfort Advisors sharing the loss of Gross Profit by sharing the pain of the drop in price – by sharing commissions against the drop 50-50.
