Contractor Question:
“On a lifetime warranty how do you handle compressor failures of refrigeration leaks like a coil?”
Contractor University Expert Response:
“As long as we’ve performed the initial repair—such as replacing a compressor—and the customer remains an active club member, we’ll cover a secondary repair if needed. Maintaining club membership is key.
Once a system reaches 12+ years of age, we should begin soft-pitching a replacement promotion, especially during the shoulder season, tailored to our club members.
Remember, compressors typically don’t fail twice in a row—especially if we’re maintaining the system properly. If there is a second failure, it usually means something was missed, like an airflow issue or an oversight during the initial diagnosis.
So yes, we stand by our repairs—because if something fails again, we likely didn’t get it right the first time.”
