During this October’s Coaches’ Counsel Q&A, an HVAC Contractor in Arizona asked:
“I want to know how to develop marketing ideas. Should I hire a third-party marketing company, or develop in-house?”
Darrel Yashinsky of Contractor University’s Next Level Coaching program said quickly that the short answer is, “both.”
“I’m going to assume you have limited dollars to spend,” said Yashinsky. “We’ve got some good marketing companies you can utilize on the EGIA marketplace.”
Yashinsky named a few marketing companies with which he had had good experiences with on the EGIA marketplace, before clarifying that he doesn’t believe he can make a blanket recommendation across the contiguous United States.
“Not all marketing is created equal. A lot of marketing that I advise our members to do is low-cost and no-cost marketing, enhanced with a strong web presence,” explained Yashinsky.
Yashinsky also singled out postcards as being the best method of acquiring new customers over any digital advertising method for service companies.
