Incorporating ChatGPT and AI Into Your Business

In the June 2023 Snapshot Survey, we asked contractors about how they have adapted to the AI revolution, especially OpenAI’s product ChatGPT. Here’s one survey question and its results from the summary report, which is available in it’s entirety by Contractor University members here.

Have You Incorporated ChatGPT and/or Other AI Programs Into Your Business Processes?

A quarter of the respondents (25%) have embraced AI, incorporating it into multiple facets of their operations. A smaller portion (12%) have integrated AI into one specific area. However, a significant minority (45%) are on the cusp of adoption, indicating a potential surge in AI utilization in the near future. The last group (18%) not considering AI adoption might be missing out on its multifaceted benefits.

Here’s what an home services contractor from Nevada said in the survey:

“We are currently using ChatGPT to help with texting while following up on open estimates and chatting with customers on our website.”
