EGIA Snapshot Survey - Future of the Industry Disruptive Technology

Disruptive technology are innovations that significantly alters the way that consumers, industries, or businesses operate. In an industry where new products and services are being made to streamline both business operations and the consumer buying experience, it is important that your company can adapt to disruptive technologies in order to continue achieving success.

In our survey, 53% of contractors shared that they are not concerned about disruptive technology in the HVAC industry, while 33% noted that they were concerned about the affects it could have. Staying informed as new disruptive technologies are introduced to the industry is as vital as making sure your business operations are flexible to changes. With the ability to adapt to new developments, your company can use disruptive technology to its advantage and maximize its success.

Here’s what an HVAC contractor from Ohio said in the survey:

“We are always looking for better ways to serve our clients. When we find new technology that we see value in, we try it out and see how we can apply it to our services.”
