Take Our IRA Survey and Help Shape the Future of HVAC

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is a federal law that provides funding to states to support residential energy efficiency improvements. With $8.8 billion in funding, the IRA aims to incentivize homeowners to make energy-efficient upgrades to their homes, such as installing solar panels, upgrading insulation, and replacing old heating and cooling systems. This emphasis on energy efficiency and electrification presents an opportunity for contractors in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry.

It’s important for HVAC organizations to understand how the IRA will affect their businesses. With the increased demand for energy-efficient upgrades, there will be a greater need for HVAC contractors to install and maintain energy efficient home systems. Additionally, the IRA’s focus on electrification may require contractors to adapt and learn new skills in order to meet the changing demands of the market.

To gain a better understanding of how contractors and distributors in the residential HVAC industry view the IRA rebate program, EGIA and HARDI are conducting a survey that aims to gather feedback on the key factors that affect contractor and customer participation in the program, as well as how these programs can assist contractors in creating increased investment in new technology.

We invite all HVAC contractors and distributors to participate in our IRA Home Efficiency and Electrification Rebate Survey. Your feedback will be sent to the Department of Energy and will help shape the future of the industry.

Together, we can help shape the future of the HVAC industry and support the adoption of energy-efficient technologies.
